James Gunn Announces Completion of Superman Filming in Cleveland

 Director James Gunn has announced the completion of filming  for the upcoming superhero film ‘Superman’ in Cleveland. Gunn posted a picture on Instagram with his crew  with a caption to express his appreciation towards Cleveland after filming for six weeks. He also praised the city’s residential support to hint that the project is in its final stage.

Wondering who will be the Superman in the upcoming 2025 series? Well Gunn showed a glimpse of the customer while announcing the start of the filming in February, but now we have a full look and David Corenswet is the Superman. A picture uploaded by Gunn in social media representing David wearing the Superman costume and added a caption “The above photo was taken on set by Jess Miglio and was entirely in camera.”

It also includes the caste Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Milly Alcock as Superhirl, Nathan Fillion as the Earth-based Green Lantern Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Sean Gunn as Maxwell Lord, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Maria Gabriela de Faria as Angela Spica, and Wendell Pierce as Perry White.

#Cleveland- today we are leaving you after six amazing weeks of shooting. From the moment we first came here on a scout a tad less than a year ago and Terminal Tower was lit up with the colors of Superman, I knew you were a special place,” Gunn posted on Threads alongside a set of photos from his time in the city. “I would walk down your streets and someone would stop me and tell me how grateful they were we were shooting in their city – not once, not twice, but dozens of times.”

Release Date

Well the wait is over as Gunn has already released the date of the upcoming sequel.
