Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger recently expanded their family. The couple announced their son’s birth, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt, on Monday, November 11.

“We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son,” they shared on Instagram. “Mama and baby are doing well, and Ford’s siblings are thrilled. We feel so blessed and grateful.” Ford’s arrival, shown on a baby-blue infographic, was on Friday, November 8.

Growing Family: Daughters and a New Baby Boy

Pratt and Schwarzenegger married in June 2019. Their family includes daughters Lyla, born in 2020, and Eloise, born in 2022. Their newest addition reflects their love for a big family.

Schwarzenegger expressed her excitement in 2022, saying, “I come from a big family, so I love the idea.” Moreover, she emphasized, “Whatever God has planned is what we’ll do.”

Their blended family also includes Pratt’s 12-year-old son, Jack, with ex-wife Anna Faris. Jack now has another sibling to welcome into their family.

Cherishing Family Time and Celebrating Ford’s Arrival

The couple kept this pregnancy private. News of the pregnancy surfaced in June, though they shared little. In July, Pratt posted a photo showing Schwarzenegger’s baby bump. She wore pink gingham overalls and smiled, surrounded by balloons. “Greatest party planner in history!” he captioned the photo.

Throughout her pregnancy, Schwarzenegger enjoyed sharing moments on social media. She posed next to a rabbit and lovingly held her belly, cherishing each moment.

Schwarzenegger Values Family Support and Open Communication

Schwarzenegger has praised her mother, Maria Shriver, for her guidance. “It’s all a balancing act,” she said in 2022. “I feel really lucky to have an amazing role model.” Family time, she emphasised, is her top priority, something she upholds while raising her children with Pratt.

Moreover, open communication remains central to Pratt and Schwarzenegger’s relationship. In 2020, she highlighted the importance of staying connected.

“Communication constantly is, like, the most amazing gift you can have,” she noted. The couple’s relationship continues to strengthen, especially with the arrival of baby Ford.
