As they got back together to celebrate their son Wave’s third birthday, Cardi B and Offset made headlines once more. The ex-couple set aside their disagreements to give their young boy a special experience even in the middle of their current divorce processes.
Cardi B and Offset Reunite
According to behind-the-scenes photos that Cardi and Offset posted on their own Instagram Stories, the happy parents got back together on Saturday, Aug. 31, despite going through a divorce, to celebrate their son Wave Set Cephus’ third birthday a few days early and throw an adorable, lavish party with an airplane theme. The “Up” rapper started the celebrations on social media by sharing a brief but adorable video of Wave, who she and Offset welcomed on September 4, 2021, standing outside and hanging out with his 6-year-old big sister Kulture Kiari Cephus while he was shirtless.
Cardi initially posted a few pictures of herself wearing white and toting a pink Louis Vuitton purse. She then posted a video of Wave and his father, Offset, dancing during the celebration. In the video, Offset and Wave wore matching jeans and Timberland boots while the Migos member excited his youngster. Then, with a smile, he lifted Wave off the ground and held him in his arms.
Grand Birthday Celebration of Wave
Massive jet displays bearing the identical “Wave Airlines” logo, an additional poster showing airline “departures,” and adorable plane-themed party favors for guests to take home were all featured at the celebration. The adults had meatballs, mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese, ribs, and more prepared by chef Franklin Rosario, who Cardi tagged in a video of the meal. The kids had an assortment of Mr. Beast burgers from the family.
Cardi shared photos of the event on her Instagram Stories, showing family and friends enjoying the large blue cake with a “Wave Airlines” cake topper and several other airline-themed cake toppers that represented passports and bags.
