Cardi B has responded to her estranged husband Offset’s public accusations of infidelity during her recent pregnancy. The rapper took to Instagram Live to address the allegations, seemingly confirming Offset’s claims while expressing her own feelings about their relationship.
Offset’s Accusation and Cardi B’s Response
During Cardi B’s Instagram Live session, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, commented, “U f–ked with a baby inside, tell the truth!!” Cardi B quickly responded on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple yet telling statement: “AND DID!!!!!!” This exchange led many fans to believe that the Grammy-winning artist was acknowledging Offset’s accusations.
In her Instagram Live rant, Cardi B expressed a range of emotions, from gratitude for their children to regret over her relationship with Offset. “But f–k you, I regret you,” she stated. “I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
Ongoing Divorce Proceedings
Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been tumultuous, with the rapper filing for divorce in July 2023 for the second time. Despite their separation, the couple has been spotted together multiple times, and Cardi recently welcomed their third child in September.
During her live session, Cardi B confronted Offset about his threats regarding their belongings. “Since you wanna f–king threaten me, talking about you wanna take my s–t, you wanna take my s–t because I’m moving on? Move on. Move on. Why can’t you move on?” she questioned.
A Complicated History
Cardi B and Offset’s relationship has been filled with allegations of infidelity, breakups, and reconciliations. The couple secretly married in 2017 and has faced numerous challenges due to their busy careers and Offset’s alleged cheating.
Despite the pain and regret Cardi B expressed, she also showed resilience in the face of adversity. “It’s no fun when Mama’s got the gun, right? Now we’re going to court war, right?” she added, hinting at her determination to move forward with their divorce proceedings.
