Angelina Jolie made a rare public appearance with her son, Knox, at the 15th Annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles.
A Rare Public Outing with Son Knox
The 49-year-old actress walked arm-in-arm with her 16-year-old son. She smiled proudly as they posed for photographers.
Knox looked noticeably taller than his famous mother. He stood confidently beside her, wearing a black tuxedo. His buzz cut added to his mature appearance.
Jolie, on the other hand, wore a gold, floor-length gown. She paired it with a statement silver necklace and drop earrings.
This outing marked a special moment. It was Knox’s return to the red carpet after three years. His last appearance was in October 2021 at the Eternals premiere in London.
Family Support and Privacy
Angelina Jolie’s children prefer to stay out of the spotlight. Jolie recently shared that they are “shy” and like to keep their lives private. “They want to be private,” she said.
Though the children may not want acting careers, they remain her biggest supporters. In September, Jolie’s older children, Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, joined her at the New York Film Festival. There, Maria was screened.
Jolie expressed her gratitude for their encouragement. “Before you step into these events, you’re nervous. They say, ‘No matter what, we love you, and we’re proud of you.’ It means everything.”
Knox’s Contribution to the Film Industry
Though Knox may not pursue acting, he has been involved in the film industry. In 2016, he voiced Ku Ku in Kung Fu Panda 3, alongside his mother, who voiced Tigress.
Jolie also shared that her eldest children helped behind the scenes on her recent film, Maria. “Maddox and Pax helped with assistant directing,” she said. Pax has also worked as a photographer for her films.
Jolie’s younger daughter, Vivienne, has also participated in film projects. She played a young Aurora in Maleficent and helped Jolie with The Outsiders on Broadway.
