The divorce negotiations between soccer stars Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris are progressing after the couple’s shocking split in late 2023. Both filed separately for divorce, with Krieger seeking a fair custody arrangement and equal division of assets.

Krieger’s lawyer, Amanda Trigg, filed documents explaining why the dismissal was inappropriate and how reinstating the case could allow for a quicker resolution.
On October 25, Harris consented to the motion, allowing negotiations to continue without further delays. The two sides have been in ongoing discussions, working through the remaining details of their split. The couple’s attorneys are focused on reaching a resolution that minimises conflict, with Krieger’s goal being a peaceful and fair conclusion.
Custody and Family Matters at the Forefront
One of the key issues in the divorce has been custody of their two young children, Sloane, 3, and Ocean, 2. Krieger has emphasised the importance of establishing a custody and parenting time arrangement that prioritises the children’s best interests. While the two are navigating their personal differences, they remain committed to co-parenting.
The couple, who married in 2019, initially met in 2010 during a U.S. Women’s National Team camp. Their connection was immediate, with Harris describing it as “love at first sight.”
