As per the various reports, Angelina Jolie and the casts of the film The Eternals got scared when a bomb was found on the set. According to the reports of multiple outlets, the production of the Marvel project was stopped when the crew members found an unidentified object near the vicinity.
“ET has learned that an unidentified object was found on the set where 2nd unit filming was taking place,” E! News confirmed the news. “Per safety protocol, the area was inspected and deemed safe, and production resumed. No cast was present, but the crew were asked to clear the area while the inspection occurred.”
Although it was not known yet from where that object came or how long that was in the location where the shooting was going on. It was on an island which was earlier used as a German military base in the Second World War. Angelina Jolie is now shooting this film along with other famous stars like Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Brian Tyree Henry and Salma Hayek.
“It was obviously terrifying–the bomb could have been there for decades untouched but who knows what might have happened if it was disturbed,” an insider shared to The Sun. “Some of the biggest stars in the world were on set and nobody was taking any chances. Fortunately, experts dealt with it.”
The Eternals, which is all set to release late next year, is the latest upcoming venture on the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it is based on the super-powered near-immortal beings. It was created in a series based on genetic experiments on the early humans by a bunch of cosmic gods who are known as the Celestials.
