Rodriguez Chooses Morgan After WWE Return at Bad Blood
It has taken Rodriguez an arduous seven months to battle with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome before she could finally reclaim her life. Rodriguez fought off all the physical battles, but this type of experience can change your definition of relationships. It defines who you want to travel with; in this case, she chose Morgan over Rhea Ripley for the simple reason that one is loyal.
In an interview on The Takedown with Steven Muehlhausen, Rodriguez justified her choice. “Because Morgan was there for me during my illness. Ripley wasn’t,” she stated.
Morgan’s Loyalty Stood Out During Rodriguez’s Struggles
Rodriguez is candid about her difficult recovery. After all, each day brought murky waters because of her inconsistent illness. Morgan stayed with her the entire time instead of falling by the wayside-was really good and supportive.
“Even while busy, Liv never really stopped reaching out,” Rodriguez said. “She checked on me, sent me sweet little notes, and usually tried to visit.”
Indeed, such faithfulness have coined Morgan into Rodriguez’s heart. “You go where things feel right,” she shared. “For me, though, Liv has always been number one.”
Ripley’s Absence During Recovery Influenced Decision
Rodriguez also opened up about her previously having a relationship with Rhea Ripley. The two were compatible and had fun times while coming up in NXT. Rodriguez, however, believes Ripley never bothered to fill in during her absence from the company.
“I thought Rhea was a friend, but she didn’t check in,” Rodriguez said. In stark contrast to Morgan, who always made herself available, this forced Rodriguez to reevaluate who really cared about her.
Now part of The Judgment Day, Rodriguez’s decision is really simple. Loyalty counts, and Morgan proved hers during Rodriguez’s darkest times.
