Jese Rodriguez Reflects on Training with Ronaldo and Mbappe
In a report carried by El Desmarque, Jese said that the practice approach of both players was unmatched. “There was not much difference in their training,” he said. “They scored goals in every session.”
Jese praised the natural talent of Mbappe, adding that it was already obvious from the outset.
“Already you could see that he would be a star,” he added. Despite that, Jese felt that even though the two played differently, they both had the same strong desire to be the best.
Mbappe’s Curiosity About Real Madrid
According to reports, during their time together at PSG, Mbappe was said to have consulted Jese on Real Madrid. The French superstar was curious about the club’s legacy and how it had shaped football legends.
“I had a couple of conversations with him before I left,” Jese said. “He asked me what Madrid was like, and I told him it’s the best club in the world.
Jese also had the idea of convincing Mbappe about Real Madrid if he wanted the prestigious Ballon d’Or. Before that, Mbappe never played under Jese’s guidance at PSG, and the discussions were a manifestation of Mbappe’s long-term ambitions.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s High Praise for Mbappe
Cristiano Ronaldo also complimented Mbappe’s talent. Earlier in the year, he came out for the bright Frenchman to shine brightly at Real Madrid.
“He has the talent and the structure to be a successful player,” said Ronaldo. “In my opinion, he will be one of the next Golden Ball [Ballon D’or] awardees together with the likes of Haaland and Bellingham.”
Ronaldo’s compliment is an acknowledgment of Mbappe as one of football’s brightest stars. The drive and performance of this French forward promise a career as illustrious as that of the language’s legendary story by Ronaldo.
