This latest achievement adds another accolade to Liquid’s already remarkable 2024 performance.

The tournament featured four remaining contenders on the final day: Team Liquid, Team Spirit, Gaimin Gladiators, and PARIVISION. All competed for a share of the $100,000 prize pool.

 As a result, Team Liquid emerged victorious, taking home the lion’s share of $50,000. Their flawless gameplay cemented their reputation as one of the world’s strongest teams.

Meanwhile, Gaimin Gladiators secured third place after defeating PARIVISION in a convincing 2-0 series. This earned them $15,000, while PARIVISION settled for $5,000.

Playoff Highlights: Intense Battles and Strategic Gameplay

The tournament began with a gripping third-place match between Gaimin Gladiators and PARIVISION. Game one remained competitive until the 21st minute when Gladiators seized control. They concluded the game in 35 minutes with a 27-16 victory.

Game two was similarly hard-fought, although both teams battled fiercely for dominance. 

Ultimately, Gaimin Gladiators clinched victory in the 46th minute with a 28-16 scoreline. This marked a redemption moment for the team, especially after an earlier loss to Team Spirit.

The grand finals saw Team Liquid and Team Spirit face off in a best-of-five series. Liquid showcased superior coordination and strategy, securing all three matches. Therefore, their standout performance in game three, with a dominant 40-13 scoreline, highlighted their prowess.

Team Liquid’s Journey: A Perfect Finish

Throughout the series, Team Liquid demonstrated unmatched skill and consistency. 

The first game was closely contested; however, both teams vied for an early lead. A decisive team fight in the 30th minute tipped the scales in Liquid’s favour, leading to a 39-21 victory.

Game two stretched into a strategic 51-minute battle, but Liquid’s patience paid off. They secured the win with a 41-21 scoreline, as they showcased their adaptability. The third game was Liquid’s most dominant, ending in just 28 minutes.

Michael ‘miCKe’ Vu stood out with an extraordinary KDA of 28/3/50. Meanwhile, this win underscores Liquid’s depth of talent. With this victory, Team Liquid became the third team to win a 1win Series event in 2024.
