Ezra Sosa, a professional dancer from Dancing with the Stars (DWTS), has recently shared his desire to join the cast of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. During an interview at the DIRECTV x PEOPLE EW Reality TV Party on September 26, Sosa revealed that growing up in a Mormon family in Utah sparked his interest in the show.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives – A Look into a Viral Scandal
The Hulu series premiered in September and delves into the lives of Mormon mom influencers involved in a viral “soft swinging” scandal in 2022.
The first season introduced viewers to cast members Demi Engemann, Jessi Ngatikaura, and others, whose personal lives quickly gained public attention.
The buzz surrounding the show has led to the announcement of a second season, expected to air in spring 2025.
When asked which reality show he would like to join if not DWTS, Sosa mentioned The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, saying, “We grew up Mormon, and we grew up from Utah, so we watch that, I’m like, ‘Facts, sis.’”
Sosa further expressed his enthusiasm by inviting the cast of the show to attend one of his performances. “I will gladly get you tickets to the show, I would love to dance with all of you,” he added.
Ezra Sosa’s Journey on Dancing with the Stars
Sosa’s time on Dancing with the Stars season 33 was cut short after he was eliminated alongside his celebrity partner, Anna Delvey, in the second episode.
Reflecting on his experience, Sosa said he expected Delvey’s iconic exit comment, where she stated she took “nothing” from the show.
Despite the early elimination, Sosa remains positive and eager to explore new opportunities, including possibly joining The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
As fans eagerly await the second season of the Hulu show, Sosa’s enthusiasm has certainly caught the attention of viewers and could potentially lead to a future crossover between the two reality TV worlds.
