Kardea Brown is stepping into a new role as the host of the popular Food Network show, Kids Baking Championship. The Charleston-based chef will be replacing Valerie Bertinelli, who announced her departure in January. Brown, who has previously judged the show and co-hosted various specials, will be joining Duff Goldman as co-host for the upcoming seasons. Their first full season together is slated to premiere in early 2025, with holiday specials launching soon.

The upcoming holiday special, Kids Baking Championship: Scary Good, premieres on October 7, followed by a festive episode on December 2.
