MAPPA Unveils New Trailer for Upcoming Anime “Zenshu”

MAPPA, the acclaimed anime studio behind hits like Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan, has officially announced the release of a new trailer for its upcoming project, Zenshu. The world-premiere trailer is set to debut on October 18, 2024, and fans are eagerly anticipating a glimpse into the characters, settings, and music that will define this new series.

A Glimpse into “Zenshu”

Zenshu follows the inspiring journey of Natsuko Hirose, a high school graduate with aspirations of becoming an animator. As her talent shines through, Natsuko quickly ascends the ranks within the animation industry, ultimately becoming a director. Her debut anime garners significant success, earning her acclaim as a genius in her field. 

However, Natsuko faces her greatest challenge yet: creating a romantic comedy centered around first love. Lacking personal experience in this area, she struggles to develop the storyboard, leading to production delays that threaten her career.

Stellar Staff and Voice Cast

MAPPA has assembled a talented team for Zenshu. The series will be directed by Mitsue Yamasaki, known for her work on Noragami and Attack on Titan: The Final Season. Kimiko Ueno, who has contributed to shows like Carole & Tuesday, is handling the scriptwriting. The musical score will be composed by Yukari Hashimoto, recognized for her work on Komi Can’t Communicate and March Comes in Like a Lion.
