Later, in California, Meghan gave birth to their second child. The Duke and Duchess, who are proud parents of Princess Lilibet and five-year-old Prince Archie, desire a typical upbringing for their children. The family of Prince Harry resides in a sumptuous $14 million mansion situated in Montecito, California.
Even though he and Meghan have made every effort to keep Archie and Lilibet out of the spotlight, the couple will soon need to tell their children about their royal ancestry. They don’t seem to be in a rush to tell their kids that they are royalty, though. Experts predict that Archie and Lilibet will eventually discover their royal ancestry because Meghan’s son and daughter are sixth and seventh in line for the throne, respectively.
“They’ll have those conversations in due time,” an insider close to Meghan and Harry told US Weekly. The source called their children “so well-mannered,” describing Lilibet as “vibrant and happy” and Archie as “sweet, curious, and playful.”
Disparity between Prince William’s and Harry’s children’s exposure to limelight
According to the insider, Prince William’s three children “have way more safety, even though they’re recognizable,” in contrast to the attention that Harry’s and his estranged brother’s children receive. Archie and Lilibet, however, do not fit into the same situation.
“They know the world wants to see [them but] I would expect them to live smaller lives until that gets sorted, if it ever does,” the insider said.
A source said that Harry and Meghan are “hands-on” parents who spend time with their kids throughout the day and go with them to school.
