“He came up behind me,” Jenna explained. “I was getting a hair and makeup test, and I got a tap on the shoulder and I turned around and it was a jump scare for sure. He was like, ‘Oh hey I’m Michael, and he had molds peeling off his face.”
“I kept my cool and everything was calm until I met him the second time, with no hair or makeup on, because I’d already forgotten I’d met him and introduced myself again,” she added with a laugh.
Ortega’s intimidation and excitement
Jenna went on to describe Keaton as “the coolest” and admitted that she was intimidated to work with the Oscar nominees and co-stars Winona Ryder and Catherine O’Hara, who starred as Lydia and Delia Deetz in the original film.
“I never dreamed it would happen. “I never thought this would happen,” said Ortega, who plays Lydia’s teenage daughter, Astrid Deetz, in Beetlejuice. “Lydia is the coolest character on the planet. All this scared me.
