This feature is called ‘Imagine Me’ and Zuckerberg gives people a glimpse of it by posting a reel showing how it is done.

A glimpse of Meta’s new feature “ Image Me”

He showed the first look of the feature by posting a video on Instagram in which he scanned his face using Meta AI and then requested images of himself as a gladiator and a boy band member, and one with a large gold chain.

Additionally, In one blog, Meta said that users would be able to create and post their imagined AI images on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp as part of their feed, stories, comments, or in message windows. It is now available in many countries like  Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, and Cameroon and in multiple languages, including Hindi, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Italian.

How to use this new feature?

If you’re thinking of using this new feature then, firstly, users would have to type ‘Imagine Me’ in a chat with Meta AI. Then, they will be asked to upload three selfies of their face from the front, left side, and right side. When the selfies are being uploaded and processed, then the  screen informs users that they can delete their photos from Meta AI settings anytime.

Once the selfies have been uploaded, users can once again ask Meta AI to “Imagine me as a gladiator” or “Imagine me in a video game”.

Then you can share the images with friends and family. If users are not satisfied with the image of themselves, they also have the option to edit or regenerate the image by asking the AI model to change what they want.
